a freelance music management business based in the South of France in Cannes. We organise

top class international musicians and artists for a wide range of themes,

About
Peter Madan, G.R.S.M. (Hons), L.R.A.M., A.R.C.M.,
A.R.C.O.
Peter Madan was
born in England, educated at
Charterhouse with a music scholarship and studied
at the Royal College of Music in London, where he obtained the
GRSM degree with first class honours,
three instrumental diplomas, and many prizes for musical performance
and academic achievement. In 1985,
he was awarded the D.A.A.D.
German government scholarship for
further study with
Professor Johannes Goritzki
in Düsseldorf, Germany.
Since 1986, Peter has been based in France and plays regularly as principal cellist for some of
the finest French symphonic and
opera orchestras, including the Orchestre National de
Lyon, Opéra National de Lyon, Orchestre National de Montpellier,
and the Orchestre National du Capitole de
Toulouse.
He has made several recordings for
Virgin classics, Destiny records, Actes Sud, Long Road
Records, Chandos and Erato labels, as well
as many television and radio broadcasts.
In Great Britain, Peter
has recently been playing principal cello with the Royal Opera House
at Covent Garden, the BBC Concert Orchestra, the Scottish
Chamber Orchestra, Scottish Opera and Opera North,
sub-principal cello with the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra,
and has played regularly with the Philharmonia. In the last few
years, he has worked as co-principal cello
with the Hallé Orchestra and the Royal Philharmonic
Orchestra.
Peter is also on the examining panel for the Associated Board of
the Royal Schools of Music.
Greatly appreciated as an all
round musician, Peter is involved in mainstream pop and variety
music. The company was founded in 1999 and has since produced all sorts
of special events for major clients including: IBM, British Telecom, UEFA
football, Saab, Kone, Lehman Brothers,
Nokia, as well as many private
evenings for international stars and royalty.
